Well 2011 turned out pretty alright art-wise! Even though I wasn't in any art classes I continued painting drawing and being artsy in general, a bigger step than I've ever really taken. I managed to finish my countdown till Christmas, all paintings finished, even the intimidating portrait. (Less intimidating by the fact that it was of Justin Beaver). And I also got two paintings framed, taken down to New Orleans with dad and got a price on them. Not sure if he sold them yet but they were valued around $150 a piece. :D 2012 is looking pretty good too, I got my first commission which I keep procrastinating on finishing. And I've kept updating

Since for the moment I never have any money ever, Christmas presents were a bit of a concern for me this year. I have, however, thought of something brilliant: paintings! This works very well since I rarely see the majority of my family, and something personal would be much preferred over some junk present (I assume). The only problem is this gave me a good list of paintings I needed to finish, and I am a top level procrastinator. I have four paintings left between now and the big day, which leaves me one week per each painting to finish up. Not impossible or terribly difficult, but it's hard to inspire myself to paint when I can use my down

So, one day a long time ago I ran across a cute little thing that sat on your taskbar and was animated, and when you clicked it would react. Desktop buddy, yes? I really really really want a Cid Highwind one!!! But it's hard enough to find those desktop buddies, let alone one of Cid... maybe i'll find one someday... or just figure out how to make one myself. And I've decided since I don't have an appropriately sized scanner for most of my things that I'm just going to take pictures of them and upload them here. At least they'll be up for viewing. :)
